A Schoolhouse Reimagined
A former school could find a new chapter as a senior living community. Classrooms could become residences, with shared dining, gardens and gathering spaces bringing new life to a familiar building.
Our focus
As we grow older, what we need from a home can change. Some people want to keep their independence with more opportunities for connection. Others need everyday support or a setting designed around memory care. Through those changes, feeling at home still matters.
Kingdom Forge focuses on the places that could meet those needs: improving existing communities, giving underused buildings a new purpose and thoughtfully developing new ones. We start with the people who might live there—and the families who want to know their loved ones have a place to belong.

Illustrative Project Concepts
These are fictional concepts, not actual properties or completed Kingdom Forge projects.

A former school could find a new chapter as a senior living community. Classrooms could become residences, with shared dining, gardens and gathering spaces bringing new life to a familiar building.

A purpose-built memory care community could bring welcoming residences, sheltered gardens and comfortable gathering spaces together for people living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. The concept puts a warm, residential atmosphere at the center of its design.

An existing senior living community could be refreshed with updated residences, a welcoming entrance and inviting outdoor spaces. Thoughtful improvements could preserve its character while creating more places to gather.
The strategies
Evaluate existing communities and the physical improvements they need to serve residents over time.
Explore how underused buildings and aging campuses can support a new residential purpose.
Plan new senior-living communities where market demand, site feasibility, and the operating model support development.
The process
Find land and existing properties with a potential use grounded in local needs.
Evaluate feasibility, demand, approvals, project costs, risks, and the operating model.
Bring the appropriate designers, builders, operators, lenders, and capital relationships into a defined project team.
Coordinate development, construction, budgets, delivery, and the transition to operations.
Kingdom Forge
Turning a vision into a place that serves its community takes the right people, careful planning and strong partnerships. If you see the potential in what we’re working toward, we’d welcome a conversation about how we could move forward together.
